Love, as I Perceive

“Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind” and “love your neighbor as you love yourself”. These are the greatest commandment on which the whole Law of Moses and teachings of the prophets depend on. But what does “love” mean? How do we love?
The world has given “love” a lot of meanings and metaphors. It was compared to anything and was related to affection, desire, relationship and sex. But love is beyond mere liking and feeling; love is a decision to give.
Love is the willingness to sacrifice or give up something for someone or something. It is not selfish and it seeks the best for others. Loving is voluntarily giving a part of you for other’s sake. It is the readiness to offer your life to somebody.
True love is expressed in self-control, patience, trust and whole-hearted service. It is not just a feeling; it is an act.
Love is a word dealt responsibly, for the Scripture tell us that “one who does not love, does not know God, for God is love.” God love us first and Jesus is the expression of His love. He gave His only begotten Son to redeem us, to save us from the power of death. Aside from that, God is love. If God never fails, love, too, never fails. If you do not love, then God is not with you.
God have set an example in loving—an example we must follow. Offer to God all your heart, all your soul, and your entire mind. That is showing love. Love is measured by how much we can give or sacrifice for others. How about you? What can you voluntarily give to others? Are you ready to give your life for God?

The Truth About Fathering

Fathers are vision carriers. They are responsible for knowing their children and for transferring the vision of their family given by God to their offspring. They are not just providers, but trainers and teachers of the next generation. The world is now accustomed that mothers are the first teachers of the children, but it is really a father's job. I am not saying that it is not a mother's job, but father's now neglect their duty in preparing their children to their destined future. Fathers-to-be must somewhat know what they will enter before they they are in there.

A lot of todays father neglect this important duties that most of the youth are lost like sheep without shepherds. This youth enter fathering without a good example of the father designed by God. Remember that fathers are stewards of God's creation and gifts.

Life, as I Perceive

And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being (Genesis 2:7). He supplied us all of our needs. More importantly, He has given us a chance to live.; He provided life for us.
Life is an opportunity to serve God and do His will. It is a chance to obey, worship, honor and praise God. It is an opportunity to be with God and be right with God.
Life is a possibility to achieve a creature's purpose. It is a possibility to manifest its own glory. A dead bird cannot anymore fulfill it's purpose which is to fly above the earth and across the sky. A withered flower cannot anymore display its splendor, which is its glory. As a man created by God in His own image and likeness, our life enables me to rule over the earth and all other life on it. It gives us the potential to manifest my own glory to honor and glorify the Creator.
Our life is also the proper, suitable and right timing for us to fulfill the vision that God has given us. It is the given time for us to manifest the kingdom of God here on earth and the season to expose the “piece of eternity” hidden in us, which was placed by God.
Life is the greatest provision from God. God supplies provisions for every vision and life is one of these. It is a gift from God and it is a precious one, indeed.
Life, as I perceive it, is fair and bearable. It is not easy, but a life in Christ is wonderful. In Him, we can find life; In Him, we live. In Him, there is life, for He is the Life.
